This is the Y that inspired me since my youth. Check it out here I went every Saturday morning with my friends to swim and have arts and crafts. And they still have arts and crafts! Here's where I actually learned how to do ceramic tiling and grouting. Since then I have ceramic tiled many floors, countertops, and back splashes! I also have been a lap swimmer for years. So I can't thank this Y enough.
Have you ever used your "Away" option on your Y Card? Did you know that you can use other Y's across the country as you travel or visit friends and family in other cities? It's really fun to go and see what other ones are like and then there's no excuse to give up your workouts! So as I travel "from the Redwood forests to the Gulf stream waters", I collect pictures of the Y's I visit and share them with you including my former hometown Y in Monroe, WI.
